The B2B-meetings are booked online via this platform. The meeting slot on 6th October 8:30 – 10.30 hour will be conducted onsite at the venue (Hotel JW Marriott, Frankfurt, Germany). All other meeting slots on 6th and 7th October are online and conducted via this platform. However, if you and your interlocutor should both attend CIEX in Frankfurt on Thursday 6th October 2022, you will have the opportunity to meet physically at the venue for the afternoon slots. A meeting point will be set up.

CIEX Europe
CIEX – The Chemical Innovation Exchange blows the dust off stuffy conferences. It provides you with a fresh channel to explore cutting edge innovation in the rapidly evolving chemical industry. Connecting innovators with investors, potential customers and budget holders, we enable our delegates to share, collaborate, explore and experiment.
The CIEX Europe 2022 conference is organized by Merlien Institute, a dynamic publishing and events company for research and innovation. Established in 2008 Merlien runs conferences across the world and has hosted thousands of delegates.
The CIEX advisory board provides strategic advise to Merlien Institute and the conference production committee on the range of activities undertaken. The role of the Advisory Board is very important to us as they provide invaluable feedback and guidance to speakers and help steer speaker’s presentation content to the required standards and relevance. Aside from reviewing submitted abstracts, our Advisory Board also contributes to keynote speeches, chairing sessions, facilitating panel discussions or conduct brainstorming workshops.
5-HT Digital Hub Chemistry & Health
The 5-HT Digital Hub Chemistry & Health based in Mannheim/Ludwigshafen was selected by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action to be Germany’s Digital Hub for Chemistry & Health. The hub acts as platform to connect promising startups with investors and corporates from the chemical and health industry. Since the first startup bootcamp 5-HT X-linker in May 2019 when the hub connected 12 national and international startups with chemical and pharma companies like BASF, Merck, Roche, Evonik and more, the hub has organized several programs and events to successfully match relevant players in chemistry and pharma with promising global startups.
The mandate of the Digital Hub is to establish a global hotspot for chemistry and health startups by forming a platform to smoothen collaborations between corporates and startups. The Digital Hub was founded in 2018 and is open to further onboard corporates to participate from the ecosystem.

ISC3 – The International Sustainable Chemistry Collaborative Centre
ISC3 is an international centre that fosters the transition of the chemical and chemical-related sectors to sustainable chemistry, promoting a circular economy that is striving to implement multifaceted aspects of sustainability at every step of the life cycle of products and changing all stakeholder behavior. Therefore, the Centre takes a multi-stakeholder approach, targeting policy makers, the public and private sectors, academia and civil society. ISC3 contributes globally to international chemicals policy, develops professional and academic trainings, offers advisory services, fosters innovations, supports entrepreneurship and conducts research.
Industriepark Höchst

European IP Helpdesk
A first-line intellectual property (IP) service providing free-of-charge support to help European SMEs and beneficiaries of EU-funded research projects manage their IP in the context of transnational business or EU research and innovation programmes.
The European IP Helpdesk supports European SMEs and research teams involved in cross-border business and/or EU-funded research activities manage, disseminate and valorise their IP. Offering a broad range of informative material, a Helpline service for direct IP support as well as on-site and online training, our main goal is to support IP capacity building along the full scale of IP practices: from awareness to strategic use and successful exploitation.
